On the afternoon of September 24, Lide stadium played host to CQUST’s 2021 Freshmen Military Training Presentation Gala and Opening Ceremony , which was attended by all university leaders , leaders of the Armed Forces Department of Shapingba District, heads of functional departments of the university, heads of CPC committees and executive branch of all schools (departments), as well as all members of the military trainee regiment and all 2021 students attended the conference.

The event kicked off in the majestic melody of Chinese national anthem. President Yin Huachuan, on behalf of the CPC committee and executive branch of the university as well as the teachers, staff, and students of the school, extended a warm welcome to 4516 new-comers from all over the country and expressed heartfelt thanks to the officers from the Armed Forces Department of Shapingba District, Chongqing, who were responsible for delivering military training.

The school commended the distinguished teams and individuals in military training of the 2021 class. Vice President Xiao Dazhi read out the commendation statement of the university, and leaders presented awards to representatives of teams and individuals recognized as distinguished battalions, companies, teachers and model trainees .

Teams of the military training regiment thrilled the audience with wonderful performances, such as military boxing and marching, to showcase what they have achieved in the two-week training session.
